forward to playing with our newly re-named 5-piece band Cold Sweat at the Gov
tomorrow at 1.55. With a line-up of three other SA Live Music Club Bands
it'll be a fun afternoon.
Excited about debuting our new original song "Cold Sweat".
First band outing in months since the easing of covid restrictions. Now called Cold Sweat, we played at a Saturday Session at The Gov. Thanks to Richard Tonkin, the SA Live Music Club and Stephen Rees (on bass) for the video.
Also best wishes to Andrew Storer, vocalist and guitar player, who is retiring from the band after 12 years of rocking along, and Tom Symons, lead guitar and vocals, who is taking a break due to work commitments.
The book is "Singing in the Rain", a picture book based on the lyrics of the famous song and musical.
Naturally after the first few pages my grown-up daughter and I started happily and heartily performing the song, much to the delight of the little one and the amazement and amusement of other library users.
Fifty years ago today, Ann and I first met on Notting Hill Gate tube station in London. We went for a drink in a now vanished pub in nearby Portobello Road.
